What we collect
When you apply, we collect what you type into the application: your name, email address, phone number, where you live or where the business is, and your answers about your experience or your business. If you start an application and stop, we keep what you entered up to that point so you can finish later.
We also collect technical information when you visit: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how far you get in the application. Google Analytics measures website visits and introduction activity. Meta advertising tags run on the business-owners pages, and LinkedIn tags run on the experienced-operators pages. These services may set cookies. See the section on measurement below.
How we use it
To read and consider your application, to contact you about it, to keep a record of applications we have received, and to measure and improve our advertising. If you gave separate consent, we may also contact you with calls or text messages that use automated or AI technology. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to a text or by writing to us.
Who sees it
Your application goes to the two partners of 500 Management LLC. We do not sell applications or share them for other companies' marketing. Service providers that host these pages, store our records, send our email and run our advertising measurement process data on our behalf under their own terms. Meta and LinkedIn receive hashed contact details and technical data from the application events described below.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and whether they start or complete an introduction. It processes technical information such as device and browser details, approximate location and cookie identifiers. We send the page path and event type, not names, contact information, questionnaire answers or URL query strings. Automatic form measurement and advertising personalization are disabled in this analytics setup.
You can restrict cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking measurement does not prevent you from submitting an introduction.
Cookies and advertising measurement
The owners pages use the Meta pixel and the experts pages use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure visits and submissions. These advertising tags do not run on the main company pages. When you submit an introduction, server-side conversion events also send hashed contact identifiers, cookie or ad-click identifiers, and technical data to these platforms. Meta can receive a hashed email address or phone number; LinkedIn can receive a hashed email address and name. This helps us measure which advertisements led to introductions without counting the browser and server copies twice.
We do not send your business description, revenue range or other questionnaire answers to Meta or LinkedIn. You can limit advertising cookies in your browser settings and in your Meta and LinkedIn advertising preferences.
How long we keep it
We keep applications while we consider them and afterwards as a record, unless you ask us to delete yours. If you told us we may keep your application on file, we keep it until you ask us not to.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by writing to applications@500-mgmt.com. Residents of some states have additional rights under state privacy laws; write to the same address to use them.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date.
